General Information
Description
· Interwrite Response is a comprehensive electronic response system for testing, polling, and surveying a group of people.

Known Issues
Multiplatform
· If an Interwrite Mobi is powered off during a Response session, then powered back on, data will no longer be visible on the KWIK screen until the session is ended and Response is closed and restarted.
· The Import Roster and Import Lesson features do not work properly for Traditional Chinese.
Mac
· During install, the Device Manager install window may appear behind the Response Install Shield window. User’s must switch to the Device Manager install window to continue the install.
· Occasionally the question chart will appear behind the session question being asked.
Installation Information
Installing the Interwrite Response
Software from the Interwrite Response CD
1.
Insert the CD. It should start up automatically.
Select the Install Interwrite Response Software
menu option. Or, run setup.exe from the root directory of the CD.
2.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
installation of the software.
Mac PowerPoint Add-in Installation Instructions
The following steps
describe how to install the PRS PowerPoint Add-in on the Mac.
·
Open PowerPoint and select the PowerPoint Menu.
· Select the Preferences… menu option.
·
Click on the View tab and uncheck the Project
Gallery at startup option.
· Click on the OK button.
·
Select the Tools Menu.
·
Select the Add-ins... menu
option.
·
Click on the Add... button. Navigate to the
folder in which PRS is installed. By default, PRS is installed in the InterWrite PRS folder.
·
Select the PRS AddIn.ppa file and click on the
Open button.
·
The PRS Add-in file will be listed in the Add-in
List. Click on the OK button.
· Restart PowerPoint.
By default, the PRS
Add-in Toolbar displays along the left side of the PowerPoint window. You can
move it by grabbing the spot next to the Close button and dragging it to the
top of the window where the other Toolbars are located. Click and drag the
Resize button to change the PRS Toolbar's orientation
Removing Interwrite Response
1.
Open the Windows Control Panel (Start->Settings->Control
Panel).
2.
Open Add/Remove Programs.
3.
Select Interwrite Response
from the list of installed programs.
4.
Click the Remove button.
5. Click the Yes
button to confirm that you want to remove InterWrite.
Linux Install Instructions
1.
After installing Response for Linux successfully, a system administrator must add the following line
to the /etc/sudoers file on the system: ALL ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWORD:/opt/eInstruction/DeviceManager/jreLinux/bin/java
